FIRE PUMPS

A fire pump is a part of a fire sprinkler system's water supply and powered by electric, diesel or steam. The pump intake is either connected to the public underground water supply piping, or a static water source (e.g., tank, reservoir, lake). The pump provides water flow at a higher pressure to the sprinkler system risers and hose standpipes.

NON RETURN VALVE OR CHECK VALVE

Non-return valve means they have two openings in the body, one for fluid to enter and the other for fluid to leave. Check valves are often part of common household items. Although they are available in a wide range of sizes and costs, check valves generally are very small, simple, or inexpensive. Check valves work automatically and most are not controlled by a person or any external control. The bodies (external shells) of most check valves are made of plastic or metal.

GATE VALVE

A gate valve, also known as a sluice valve, is a valve which opens by lifting a round or rectangular gate/wedge out of the path of the fluid. The distinct feature of a gate valve is the sealing surfaces between the gate and seats are planar, so gate valves are often used when a straight-line flow of fluid and minimum restriction is desired. Gate valves are primarily used to permit or prevent the flow of liquids, but typical gate valves shouldn't be used for regulating flow, unless they are specifically designed for that purpose.

PRESSURE REDUCING VALVE

A pressure reducing valve is a control valve that reduces the input pressure of a fluid to a desired value at its output. Regulators are used for gases and liquids, and can be an integral device with an output pressure setting, a restrictor and a sensor all in the one body or consist of a separate pressure sensor, controller and flow valve.

DIESEL ENGINE BATTERY

Diesel engine-driven fire pump assemblies are commonly installed for backup systems to electric-drive fire pumps, or where electrical power may be unreliable. The required power source for electrically starting diesel engine-driven fire pumps is storage batteries. According to NFPA 20, Standard for the Installation of Stationary Pumps for Fire Protection, each diesel engine driving a fire pump must have at least two storage battery units for starting. We offer a wide range of Batteries from 50 Ah to 200 Ah.

PRESSURE SWITCH

A pressure switch is a form of switch that closes an electrical contact when a certain set fluid pressure has been reached on its input. The switch may be designed to make contact either on pressure rise or on pressure fall. Pressure switches are widely used in industry to automatically supervise and control systems that use pressurized fluids.

PRESSURE GAUGES

Instruments used to measure and display pressure in an integral unit are called pressure gauges. It is required for the set-up and tuning of fluid power machines, and are indispensable in troubleshooting them. Without pressure gauges, fluid power systems would be both unpredictable and unreliable. Gauges help to ensure there are no leaks or pressure changes that could affect the operating condition of the hydraulic system.
